Quartzdyne pressure transducers containing SMT circuit boards are warranted for one year from the date of shipment. In-warranty returns (less than one year old) will be either repaired (or replaced at Quartzdyne's discretion) at no cost to the customer.
Starting in 2012 Quartzdyne pressure transducers and Quartz Memory Gauges with hybrid circuits are warranted for 24 months from the date of the shipment. In-warranty returns (less than 24 months old) will either be repaired (or replaced at Quartzdyne's discretion) at no cost to the customer.
Quartzdyne will honor the warranties of repaired and replaced transducers until the end of their respective original warranty periods, or for 180 days from the date the transducers are returned to the customer, whichever is longer.
All warranties are void on transducers showing evidence of "customer abuse" (e.g., corroded pressure crystals, crushed housings, crushed temperature & reference crystals, modified circuits, etc.) "Customer-abused" transducers will be refurbished for the standard repair charge only if the pressure crystal meets current specifications.
Transducers that are more than two years old will be repaired for the standard repair charge only if the pressure crystal measures and calibrates to within the current specifications. If the pressure crystal fails, the customer is notified that the transducer must be scrapped. (The customer does not pay for unsuccessful repairs.) Scrapped parts are held for 90 days. Customers requesting that parts be returned must do so within 90 days after notification and pay for return shipping. See repairs for more detail.
