RETURN INSTRUCTIONS AND FAILURE REPORT FOR TRANSDUCERS

If you have a problem with one of our products, we shall make every effort to correct the problem to your satisfaction.

Please return only the Quartzdyne Transducer. We will not be responsible for any non-Quartzdyne equipment returned with our transducers. Our technicians are not trained to disassemble your tool, and we ask that you do not expose our personnel to hazardous conditions (i.e. lithium batteries). Quartzdyne Transducers are very rugged—minimal packaging is required for shipping transducers back for repair.

You are responsible for all expenses incurred in returning transducers. We pay return-to-customer shipping costs only on warranty-repaired units. It is your responsibility to insure the goods. Although we do not require an RMA number, please notify us of the pending return.

If you are returning products from inside the USA, we prefer FedEx or UPS when returning units. If you are returning products from outside the USA, our preferred carrier is FedEx. Please mark the invoice and the Airway Bill with the following information:

Marking the package correctly is the best guarantee to avoid duties/taxes. We refuse incorrectly marked shipments.

The unit must exit your country through your local Customs. Failure to do so will cause problems with your Customs when we return it to you. We assign the same value to the repair that you gave the returned goods. If you did not give a value, we use the original purchase price, and this may cause unnecessary duties.

FedEx will deliver to our door with few problems with US Customs. If you ship through a freight company, you may be charged $100 per package for the time it takes to pickup the package and clear it through US Customs.

We will send you a returned transducer summary report after we have evaluated the unit. To help us troubleshoot the transducer, please describe the failure below.
